Research, Scholarship & Creative Activity

SOMETIMES THE MOST REWARDING PLACE YOU CAN GO IS A LITTLE DEEPER.

More than 60 Fairfield University graduating seniors have been awarded Fulbrights for a reason - because of the range and depth of research opportunities open to them at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

A Fulbright is a scholarship that supports research and study overseas. Past Fulbright honorees have gone on to study the Irish penal system, ethanol production, immigration policy, and much more, from finance to medicine. These projects all started at Fairfield.

We encourage all our students to get involved in research, even during their time as undergraduates. Not only does it open up scholarship opportunities, it takes the knowledge you gain in the classroom and lets you apply it to real life projects and situations. In other words, you'll learn more than you ever thought possible about any subject you want to tackle.
