April 25, 2013, in the Barone Campus Center at Fairfield University
Sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs
On April 25th, Fairfield University will host a showcase of student work - from traditional research papers and projects to innovative art exhibitions and performances. Students at all levels in all academic disciplines are invited to share their projects with the entire campus community in the Atrium of the Barone Campus Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The entire university community is invited to attend this special event to celebrate our students' academic accomplishments.
To be eligible to participate, students must:
- Be full- or part-time, currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at Fairfield University.
- Have completed their projects under the guidance or supervision of a faculty or staff member.
- Agree to be present, in person, at the Research & Creative Accomplishments Symposium.
- Submit an online application before the deadline on April 12, 2013.
In order to be considered for the Research & Creative Accomplishments Symposium, prior to the deadline on April 12th, students must submit the online application using the following links: individual project or collaborative team project. Due to space constraints, poster presentations are most strongly encouraged. Funding is available to offset costs of some presentation materials.
A committee composed of faculty and staff will judge submissions based on the quality of each project. In addition, the committee will seek to balance participation across a range of disciplines, class years, and presentation formats.
