Business Plan Competition
The Business Plan Competition is a University-wide competition, an endeavor that has introduced "a whole new style of learning" at Fairfield. Student entrepreneurs spend the academic year developing a business plan for a product or service in an attempt to win prizes totaling $20,000 to develop their businesses. Past participants have included students from the Dolan School of Business, School of Engineering and the College of Arts & Sciences, with faculty mentors and area business professionals serving as mentors.

Graduate Student Life
The vibrant student life at Fairfield isn't just reserved for undergraduates. In fact, we have an entire office dedicated to making sure the graduate experience doesn't end when you leave class. The Office of Graduate Student Life plans intellectual, social, and cultural events and programs just for graduate students, with the goal of creating a strong community.

Internships
The Dolan School views practical experience as an important part of the academic program. The School guarantees an internship to every qualified junior or senior. An internship gives students the opportunity to apply classroom theories to real-world situations and use on-the-job experiences to enrich your academic program, earn academic credit and gain a competitive edge in the job market.
