Shadow a Stag Program

The Shadow a Stag Program is designed to give you, the student, an opportunity to experience academic and student life at Fairfield University. While on campus, you will be paired with a current student who will take you to class, introduce you to members of the Fairfield community, show you his or her favorite on-campus locations, answer your questions and eat lunch with you in the Barone Dining Hall. By the end of the day, we hope that you will have a better understanding of what it means to be a student at Fairfield.

Students are invited to come to campus during the following date ranges (please follow the below link to the "Shadow a Stag Program Request Form" and allow us at least 2 weeks advance notice):

Spring 2015

Tuesday, February 17 through Thursday, March 5
Tuesday, March 17 through Tuesday, March 31
Friday, April 10 through Thursday, April 30

We do not offer visits on Wednesdays.

You have the option of choosing whether to shadow a current student in the morning or afternoon. The morning session runs from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The afternoon session runs from 12:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Whichever option you choose is entirely up to you. We will do our best to pair you with a student based on your gender and academic interest. Please bear in mind that not all classes will be available to observe due to quizzes, tests, presentations, number of seats available, and other limits that are set by the faculty. For this reason we kindly ask for at least 2 weeks advance notice for all requests in order to communicate with our faculty.
