Career Services
Responding to alumni requests, Fairfield University is expanding its career services for alumni. Already, a wide range of assistance and resources is available, and an even broader range is being planned. Among the current alumni career services are the Fairfield Alumni Network (FAN) and online job listings.
Prepaid Tuition Plans
Fairfield University is one of more than 245 private colleges and universities across the nation to form the Tuition Plan Consortium. This not-for-profit organization sponsors the Independent 529 Plan, the first private college-sponsored, national, prepaid tuition plan. The Independent (capital I) 529 Plan that lets you PREPAY tuition at LESS than today's price. Start saving for your child's or grandchild's future today!
Institute for Retired Professionals (IRP)
An association of retired professionals who participate in broadly based monthly symposia, audit a wide range of university courses of their choice, and attend special interest programs. All activities take place on the Fairfield University campus. The Institute is open to all retired and semi-retired people over 55. The only requirement for joining is an intellectual curiosity.
Discounted Kaplan Prep Courses
Thinking of pursuing a higher degree? Now you can, with a little help from Kaplan. Fairfield University alumni are entitled to 10% off Kaplan exam prep courses as well as the ability to register for a free practice test offered by Kaplan.
The Alumni Credit Card Program

Medical and Life Insurance
The Alumni Association sponsors various health insurance plans for students, alumni, and their families as well as short and long-term life insurance. The program is administered by American Insurance Administrators (AIA) in Columbus, Ohio.
Leslie C. Quick Jr. Recreational Complex
More than 85 percent of the student body utilizes the Leslie C. Quick Jr. Recreation Complex. Fairfield alumni can purchase a special discounted rate membership to the Rec Plex which will allow them full access after graduation. Membership is $370 a year. DiMenna-Nyselius Library
Alumni are encouraged to visit the DiMenna-Nyselius Library and use its many resources. Alumni may borrow up to three books at one time with our alumni guest borrowing cards available at the Circulation Desks. Also available are the 36 computers in the Kelly Information Commons on the main level which provide access to the Internet, the Library Catalog, the Microsoft Office suite, and more than 140 web-based subscription databases. The DiMenna-Nyselius Library subscribes to a wide variety of electronic resources. The licensing agreements specify that access is restricted to current students, faculty, and staff and our on-site guests. Alumni are welcome to use the licensed resources from anywhere on campus.

Watch and Listen to the Stags Live from Anywhere
Can't make it to cheer on your Stags in person? No problem. You can do it from home, work, or anywhere with an internet connection. Visit the Multimedia page on the brand new athletics website by clicking above. From there, you can purchase a Single Game or Season Pass for basketball or an All Sports Season Pass featuring live feeds of select home volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse games, as well as all home games for men's and women's basketball.
