Who: Live Radio Drama is presented by an ensemble of actors and actresses who bring its audiences back to the time before television when radio dramas were the leading form of popular entertainment. The audience watches as these radio programs are produced and performed on a set that brings to life the atmosphere of an old-time radio studio workplace. The silent interactions and dramas between the technicians, audio engineers, and director may be the most entertaining part of the whole troupe's performance.
What: The group performs "Criminal and Evil Deeds" in which the audience watches Live Radio Drama produce a series of programs that reflect the sometimes dark nature of human beings. The programs feature tales containing various types of diabolical characters, from a death penalty sentenced criminal, to a notorious serial killer, to a haunting ghost story. However sinister the plots, the productions amuse audiences with clunky sound effects and over-the-top vintage commercials.
When: 8 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2012, and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012.
