RECREATING THE RECPLEX
A major renovation to the Leslie C. Quick, Jr. Recreation Complex has begun, with an expected completion date of August 2016. Whether you are an occasional or passionate athlete, the renovated Fairfield RecPlex will have what our students are looking for in a modern, spacious setting. Our students’ lives outside the classroom matter to us because their wellbeing is the foundation for a rewarding life and an important part of Fairfield’s future legacy.
The moment you step inside, you'll know this is a new and special place. From an indoor track and large cardio training suite to ample rooms for classes, meeting spaces and more, the new-and-improved RecPlex will be a great place for students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. Read more about the renovation.
For the duration of construction and renovation, the Recreation Department has moved into Alumni Hall. All Nautilus equipment and some weights have been moved to the space traditionally used as the weight room.
To accomodate more students during renovation, the hours of operation at Alumni Hall have been expanded:
Monday through Thursday 6:30.a.m. – Midnight
Friday 6:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
