About the Lyons-Lademan Athletic Fund
Fairfield University has long recognized the important role sports play in the lives and development of healthy, well-rounded individuals. In particular, competitive athletics contribute to the spirit, energy, and reputation of an institution. The Lyons-Lademan Athletic Fund was established in 1987 to support Fairfield's varsity and club teams for expenses that go beyond the annual budget. Gifts may be restricted to the:
- Benefit of specific varsity/club sports
- General athletic fund
- Athletic services like sports medicine and sports information
