Urban Revitalization Programs

Groundwork Bridgeport

Schedule is flexible plus fall and spring clean-ups

Sometimes the best way to give back to the community is through good old fashioned sweat and hard work. Groundwork Bridgeport is focused on the urban revitalization and beautification of Bridgeport through a variety of landscape development initiatives. Volunteers help build and maintain city parks, playgrounds, and community gardens and engage in semi-annual clean-ups.

Habitat for Humanity

Twice per month, Saturday: 8:00 a.m.-3 p.m.

Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County is part of an international Christian housing ministry working hard to make the American dream of a safe, decent home come true for all people. Volunteers are needed to help tear down, construct, and renovate homes in Bridgeport neighborhoods. You will have the chance to work alongside skilled professionals and the future homeowners.
