Summer Internship

The Summer Internship Recruiting Program at Fairfield offers students the opportunity to gain meaningful career related experience in an area related to their occupational goals. As a rule this is available to full time undergraduate students during their junior year. On occasion employers do open their opportunity to sophomores.

On-campus recruiting for junior summer internships takes place during February and March. We are committed to working with you to help you as you begin the job search process.

The Fairfield University Career Planning Center is now using eRecruiting.com to coordinate the campus recruiting process. All seniors and juniors have an eRecruiting account.

  • To sign in students need to enter their campus e-mail address and the last 4 digits of their student ID as the password. We ask that you fill in your account as completely as possible. Also we ask that you allow us to send you e-mail messages. There is an option to select Yes or No regarding e-mails. However, we will be communicating with you about events and program additions or changes through this system. Please select Yes to receive these e-mails.
  • Your access to eRecruiting is limited to browse only. After your resume has been reviewed by the CPC, you will have access to upload your resume and apply to organizations you are interested in interviewing with. All interview schedules are also handled by the system. Employers can access your resume and directly e-mail you if they wish to interview you on their schedule. Also, for those employers who will be hosting presentations these schedules can be viewed either through the Calendar section or Event section on this program.
  • We are excited about introducing this system to you. As a student you will have access to this program 24 hours a day seven days per week and can find out about up to the minute changes quickly.
