Corporate Research and Special Projects
At Fairfield, students learn by doing ... and they aren't the only ones to reap the rewards.
Under the guidance and direction of experienced faculty members, student teams work with operating businesses and non-profit agencies to complete advanced research and marketing projects as part of their coursework. Each resulting partnership is a true win-win situation ... one that provides students with concrete experience while delivering a valuable service to the corporate community.
- Student research and projects are conducted in every academic area within the University, including the School of Business, School of Engineering, and the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Projects are completed on-campus and at various corporate/research sites during the academic year and/or over the summer recess period.
- Fairfield's Center for Global Competitiveness helps small to mid-sized companies explore international business opportunities.
