Web Communications
The Director of Web Communications is responsible for the integration of web communications and oversees the Webmaster and the Web Communications Editor. Working as an integral part of the marketing teams, the web team's role is to collaborate with departments on design, content creation, and updating. The web team can hone content, recommend enhancements to liven web pages, suggest methods to encourage repeat traffic, aid in communicating key messages, and help departments devise a workflow to ensure timely and accurate updates. The web team will also serve as a liaison between departments and other web-related services available via the Media Center, Computing and Network Services, and other marketing services to gather data more effectively and deliver content more efficiently.
Web Editing
The Web Communications Editor is responsible for the creation of new content and the coordination and editing of content updates for the University's website, and serves as a resource for individual web content developers.
Webmaster Services
The Webmaster ensures that the University's web presence reflects excellence and innovation consistent with institutional standards and goals, and serves as a resource for electronic publishing.
