FUSA Executive Cabinet
The FUSA Executive Cabinet is appointed by the FUSA President and is responsible for executing the legislation made by the Senate, programming events for the student body, and creating a better learning, working, and living environment for the University community as a whole. Members of the Executive Cabinet often direct other members within FUSA and maintain communication between students, faculty, and administrators on a frequent basis.
The FUSA Executive Cabinet is appointed by the FUSA President following spring elections and after an application and interview process.
FUSA President and Vice President
The FUSA President and Vice President serve as the official spokespeople of the undergraduate student body and are the official liaisons between the student body and University administration. Together they are responsible for making a variety of appointments and for defining the FUSA budget. They work with students, faculty, and administrators on a variety of academic and student life initiatives and are ultimately responsible for the accountability and management of the Fairfield University Student Association.

Chair of Senate
- Oversees the Senate meetings
- Monitors discussion among senators
- Works to represent the students by pursuing iniatives that of interest
Frank Fioretti, Chair of Senate
Chair of SOBOG
- Ensures that governors and vice chairs fulfill their responsibilities and delegates responsibilties among them
- Leads the Board of Governors in providing services and advertisements to student clubs and organizations
- Leads the process of reviewing funding requests made by student clubs and organizations and oversees the SOBOG budget
- Has final authority in all matters relating to SOBOG Elections and appoints replacement governors with the approval of the Board of Governors
Executive Director of Programming
- Serves as chair and chief administrator of the FUSA Programming Board and liaison to the rest of FUSA
- Ultimately responsible for all events sponsored by FUSA Programming Board
- Appoints all special interest directors on General Committee on Programming Board
Rachel Feyre, Director of Programming
Secretary of Student Life
- Will chair the FUSA Student Life Committee while also working on all student life issues that may arise in senate, keeping FUSA and campus members informed about issues and progress
- Will initiate and sponsor events and programs aimed at increasing school spirit and the quality of student life for all university students
- Shall act as the liaison between all on- and off-campus organizations
- Will be responsible for all FUSA sponsored charitable initiatives
Eddie Muniz, Secretary of Student Life
Secretary of the Interior
- Responsible for planning and coordinating monthly Community Builders
- Responsible for working with Board Leaders to coordinate Community Building Activities within individual boards
- Responsible for working with the Office of Student Activities to establish a quality FUSA training program
- Mentor and provide support to FUSA Class Councils
- Coordinate FUSA wide meetings which occur on a bi-monthly basis
- Works with the Secretary of Marketing and Public Relations in assembling FUSA bi-weekly internal newsletter
Secretary of Marketing and Public Relations
- Will record minutes from weekly FUSA Executive Board meetings and release copies and report their details to all members of FUSA
- Will be responsible for collecting minutes from all FUSA members and making them available to the entire student body
- Will be the liaison between FUSA and all on-campus and off-campus media
- Shall be responsible for writing all FUSA related press releases and coordinating all FUSA related publicity
- Shall aid in communication between branches within FUSA
- Shall be responsible to aid student awareness through the release and availability of a newsletter of activities and FUSA related information at least once a month
Christine Ruane, Secretary of Marketing and PR
Secretary of Academics
- Will chair the FUSA Academics committee, meeting regularly to work on any academic issues
- Will sponsor, support, and collaborate with faculty and administration, on academic and learning initiatives
- Will be responsible for working with the campus registrar on addressing all registration issues
- Will be responsible for working with the Study Abroad office
- Will be responsible for working with the Career Planning Center
- Will serve as a member on the University Core Curriculum Committee
Secretary of Treasury
- Shall be responsible for coordinating and managing the FUSA Budget with the FUSA President
- Will assist all class council treasuries, the programming director of treasury, the SOBOG Vice Chair of Finance, and the Chair of Senate in all fund allocations for activities and expenses
- Shall be responsible for keeping the Senate updated on all FUSA expenses
