Student Organization Board of Governors (aka SOBOG)
Fairfield University provides a wide variety of student clubs and organizations that aim to meet the interests of all students. Through the Student Organization Board of Governors (SOBOG), clubs become officially recognized and are allocated University funding. The Student Organization Board of Governors reviews funding requests, approves constitutions, and works with all registered clubs to ensure that they meet the interests of the entire student body. SOBOG officials work with club members and advisors to help them maintain a high quality program and effective governance. Elections of SOBOG Officials are called by the Chair of SOBOG at the second General Assembly of the spring semester.
