Funding Priorities
To support the University's new strategic vision, as articulated in Learning and Integrity: A Strategic Vision for Fairfield University, the following areas have been designated as priorities.
Access and Achievement
Fairfield looks to open its doors more widely to a diverse student body that is more reflective of our global society, offering the University community and the entire student body the opportunity to learn from one another.
Teaching and Learning
Fairfield aims to produce men and women who are broadly educated in the humanities, the sciences, and the social sciences, guided by faculty who are focused and engaged in today's leading pedagogical methods, industry practice, and assessment.
Global Leadership
Fairfield seeks to help those who pass through its gates lead more meaningful and fulfilling lives - creating people of competence, commitment, and compassion - in preparation for leadership in an increasingly global world.
Financial Strength
Fairfield hopes to leverage its solid financial condition created by more than three decades of operating in the black to find new sources of revenue, so as to lessen its dependence on tuition and become more competitive in relation to its better endowed peers.
