Senior Class Giving

Did you know that behind every Fairfield student is an Annual Fund donor? The Class of 2008 Senior Giving Program offers you and your classmates an opportunity to join the many seniors before you who have become Annual Fund donors on their way to graduation. For the cost of a pizza or a night at the Grape, you can leave your mark on Fairfield and keep the tradition of giving alive.

The Annual Fund is the University's most significant fundraising effort, and the Senior Giving program is your introduction to Fairfield's 60-year tradition of alumni giving. Among other initiatives, your Annual Fund dollars help:

  • bolster student financial aid packages
  • provide resources to recruit, retain, and develop a preeminent faculty
  • support extracurricular activities
  • upgrade and maintain campus facilities
  • enhance library holdings and databases

Please take a moment to consider what these last four years have meant to you and what the Fairfield years can mean to others who will follow. By participating in the Senior Giving Program today, you will send a powerful message that you are ready to carry on the torch of leadership and service to others.

An Extra Incentive

Do you have any ideas of what might motivate your senior class to give? In the past we've used raffles, Senior Week tickets, gift certificates and invites to special events. We're open to your ideas, just pass them on to us.

Jeannie Pilkerton

"As a result of participating in the Senior Giving Program, I developed respect and admiration for the profound impact that a Jesuit university has on its students. The fact that I've gone on to pursue a career in alumni and university relations at Georgetown is a testament to how fulfilling my time at Fairfield was for me and how important I feel it is to give back."
