Classes - Scheduling/Loads

Scheduling Flexibility - GSEAP has planned its schedule to allow individuals with full-time jobs to pursue its programs conveniently on a part-time basis. Full-time enrollment (a minimum of nine credits per semester) is also offered. Classes are available year-round in a fall semester, spring semester, and three summer sessions. It is often possible to complete two courses on the same evening, thus traveling to campus just once a week

Time/Days - Fall and spring semester graduate classes are generally two hours long and are held at two times - 4:45-6:45 p.m. and 7:15-9:15 p.m., on Monday through Thursday evenings. (Summer session classes vary in length from two hours to eight hours (week-end course)

Course Loads - Full-time students typically schedule three classes (9 credits) per term while part-time students take one or two courses each term and complete their degree programs in two to three years. However, coursework requirements vary significantly from program to program, and students have considerable latitude in determining how quickly they wish to proceed through their degree and/or certification program.

Length of Term - The fall and spring semesters consist of 14 to 15 weeks of classes while the summer sessions vary with courses runing from one week to one month in length; weekend courses are also held.
