Notable AlumniBernard Seery '75
In the early 1970's, a Fairfield University student took radiation measurements during the Aurora Borealis for a NASA research grant that had been awarded to Fairfield. Today, that same individual, Bernard Seery, class of 1975, is NASA's deputy associate administrator for the Office of Biological and Physical Research overseeing the unit charged with the health and productivity of astronauts for a manned mission to Mars.
