An American alternative dance due from Brooklyn, N.Y. The group is composed of Matt Johnson (vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums/backing vocals/vocals). Formed in 2004, they are known for their "do it yourself" attitude toward music.
Q. Are grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins (etc.) invited to come?
A. Yes, anyone can come for the weekend. All events are free to guests except for the Taste of Fairfield, Beer Garden and Sunday brunch. Vouchers will need to be purchased for these events.
Q. What does each Taste of Fairfield food voucher get me?
A. Each food voucher allows you to sample featured items from one food truck or restaurant. Additional food vouchers will be available for purchase at the event.
Q: What does the Beer Garden package get me?
A: Each beer garden package includes 2 drink tickets and a commemorative mug. Please note; you must be 21 to participate. One beer garden package per person. If you are purchasing additional packages this package must be associated with an additional person that is of age. Tickets are contingent on proof of legal drinking age which will be checked at the event. No refunds available.
Q. Do I have to pay for my Fairfield student to attend the events?
A. All events are free to current students with their Stag Card, except for the food vouchers to the Taste of Fairfield event and the Beer Garden packages. Current Fairfield students must purchase separate food vouchers and Beer Garden packages to participate in the Taste of Fairfield events. These can be bought online or during the event.
Q: Do I need to reserve a ticket for my Fairfield student to attend the Hypnotist event and Glee Club Concert?
A: Yes, all individuals in your party will need a separate ticket to these events. Please check with your student to see if they would like to attend. If yes, please include them in your count. Please note that these events may sell out, so please register as soon as possible.
Q: What does a Sunday brunch voucher include?
A: This ticket allows family members, friends and alumni to experience a traditional all you can eat Fairfield University Sunday brunch with current students in the John A. Barone Campus Center.
Q: Do I have to pay for my Fairfield student to attend Sunday brunch?
A: No, your student can swipe into brunch with their StagCard. Students that do not have a meal plan will need to purchase a brunch ticket. Additional vouchers will be available outside Einstein Bagels on Sunday.
Q. Do I need to pay for my child that is 12 years of age or younger?
A. Children are able to attend all events for free, except for the Taste of Fairfield, Concert and Sunday brunch. Each child will need their own concert ticket as well as separate vouchers to eat at these events. Additional vouchers for the Taste of Fairfield will be available at the event and Brunch vouchers will also be available outside Einstein Bagels on Sunday.
Q: If I am a Fairfield Student, isn’t my concert ticket free?
A: Yes, Fairfield Students are allowed one FREE concert ticket with valid StagCard. You will reserve this ticket through the registration page. FUSA will be notifying students about picking up their tickets.
Q: If I am an Alumna or Family member, can I buy just a concert ticket?
A: No, the Alumni & Family packages are combined with other offerings for the weekend. If concert tickets are still available on the day of the concert, we will be selling them to interested guests.
Q: Will the FUSA Concert sell out?
A: There is always the possibility that the concert may reach capacity. Please plan on purchasing or reserving (for Fairfield Students) your FUSA Concert ticket as soon as possible.
Q: What does pre-registration preferred mean on the Alumni Family Weekend schedule?
A: We ask that you pre-register for the events you foresee yourself attending during the weekend. These events will be listed on the registration page at a fee of $0.00. You can add them to your cart, which indicates to us that you are planning on attending that event.
Q. Do you have discounts for lodging during this weekend?
A. Yes, we have locked in rates at local hotels in the area. Please see the “plan your visit” tab on this page.
