Purpose

The purpose of the Student Health Center (SHC) is to foster and maintain the health of Fairfield University students by preventive measures, education, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.

The staff in the Student Health Center is always available to talk with students seeking medical information or counseling as well as matters pertaining to healthy habits, which allows for a greater understanding of themselves from a holistic perspective.

The SHC is located at the back of Dolan Hall. All health and counseling services are available there. The campus ext. is 2241.

Health care is provided by a staff of physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses. No student can receive any medical treatment at the SHC unless a Medical Report Form has been received and is on file at the Center.
