RCADE offers workshops in digital applicatons to Fairfield University students, faculty and staff. The lab is open at various times during the day and evening.
RCADE shares the Media Center's 15,000 square foot facility, on the ground floor of Xavier Hall with its:
- Digital Imaging lab and classroom
- Advanced Digital Editing Suite
- Studio B Audio Suite
- Multimedia Conference room
- Projection Screening Rooms
- AMES (equipment loans/repairs)
Digital Imaging Lab
This Lab is where RCADE workshops as well as media classes are held. Its 16 Apple G5 workstations (with 10.4 Tiger operating system) are loaded with the most current image editing and multimedia authoring software.
Advanced Editing Suite
With its nine Apple G5 workstations, this room is used specifically for video editing. Each station is equipped with Final Cut Pro Studio 2, Apple iLife, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS2, and DVD Studio Pro.
