Fairfield's MFA begins with a simple idea - to help you turn your creative writing dream into a reality. We start with a highly qualified and supportive faculty along with a program that is both rigorous and yet can be adapted to your own particular writing needs. Workshops, lectures, and panels offering both the theory of writing as well as the practical issues of getting published enhance your learning experience. All this happens in a setting that is truly inspirational, where a nurturing writing community will help guide you not only for the two years you are in the program but for the rest of your life.
