There is never a dull moment at Fairfield University! Year-round activities abound and are sure to satisfy whatever interests you have.
You don't have to go far to have fun: on-campus activities of some sort are scheduled for every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. And in the campus center, you'll find a game room with pool, ping-pong, and foosball tables - all free and open to all.
The Levee is Fairfield's on-campus bar. It houses Mike's Pizzeria, which serves an assortment of Italian specialties. For those over the age of 21, the Levee provides a safe place to have a drink and hang out with friends. Depending on the night, activities might include trivia challenges, darts championships, and costume contests.
Student clubs and organizations sponsor many different activities, such as ski trips, Model UN conferences, tours of New York's Chinatown, and volunteer opportunities.
Those interested in sports can join one of Fairfield's 19 Division 1 teams, or play in a team club for fun. If you just want to get together with friends and play anything from soccer and tennis to football and hockey, join the intramural sport leagues in which 65% of the student body participates.
Off-campus, there are regularly scheduled trips to New York for Broadway shows or Yankee games. New York's sights and sounds, museums and cultural activities are second to none ... and are only an hour away by train.
