Faculty teaching and scholarship will be recognized and celebrated, and community partners will be recognized for their essential commitment to student learning.

The Urgent Need for Service Learning for Justice, Integration, and Sustainability

On September 23rd and 24th, the Center for Faith and Public Life’s Office of Service Learning will host Nadinne Cruz, nationally renowned practitioner, advocate, scholar, and consultant on service-learning. Nadinne’s work is inspired by her volunteer experiences with peasants in the Philippines and her Filipina-American immigrant consciousness of domestic and international issues. All are welcome to participate in this keynote address, as she helps us to deepen our thinking around and approach to service learning, diversity learning, and integration.
