Fairfield University welcomes Fairfield's Holland Hill Elementary School Boy Scouts

November 6, 2000

On Monday, Dec. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m., Fairfield University's School of Nursing will be helping Fairfield's Holland Hill Elementary School Boy Scouts fulfill their training requirements for the Boy Scouts of America in first aid and health and safety training. Fairfield University's faculty and nursing students will be helping the Boy Scouts on the second floor of the School of Nursing building in the Nursing Learning Lab.

Colleen Kupchick, a program assistant to the MBA program at Fairfield University, is one of the Holland Hill Elementary School Boy Scout leaders. The troop consists of 11 boys who are 10 and 11-years-old. The week before the Boy Scouts go to Fairfield University, they will be visiting Fairfield's Fire Department to learn about the importance of first aid and health and safety training. For more information, please call Colleen Kupchick at (203) 254-4000 ext. 2843.
