Notes to the Motherland
By Paul Rajeckas and George L. Chieffet
Friday-Saturday, October 12 and 13 at 8 p.m.
Sunday, October 14 at 3 p.m.
The Best of the Fringe!
Best actor nomination at the Edinburgh Fringe 2005 Notes to the Motherland is Paul Rajeckas' passionate, gut-wrenching and often hilarious journey to unearth his family's secret during WWII. Combining original music, sound effects, eccentric movement and three-dimensional characterization, Notes to the Motherland is a one-man tour-de-force reminiscent of the best of Keaton and Chaplin.

Moby Dick Rehearsed
Orson Welles' stage adaptation of the classic novel by Herman Melville
Directed by Casey Biggs
Friday, January 25 at 8 p.m. (performance also at 10 a.m.)
Theater enthusiasts will love what Orson Welles has created out of that famous tale, Moby Dick. Those who enjoy having their literature served up in delightful dramatic adaptations will find much to enjoy in this hybrid of Herman Melville's story adapted to draw a parallel between King Lear and Captain Ahab. A troupe of actors abandon its rehearsal of a play about one unforgiving, vengeance-obsessed man, King Lear, to recreate another of the same emotional stripe, Captain Ahab. Set in an empty theater, a tyrannical director leads his crew and transports audiences to Captain Ahab's fateful voyage across the open seas aboard the Pequod in search of the great white whale, Moby Dick. Orson Welles, who understood the importance of treating the audience as a partner in creating the illusion, shines through vividly in this riveting production.

Travel to Kansas, where parents vanish, aliens grow in cornfields, New Yorkers fall from the sky, and dead presidents stop by for Christmas dinner ... What if Robert F. Kennedy had survived the assassination in 1968? Why would citizens, most harmed by domestic policies, empower their government further? What happens when outsiders are allowed in? Following their sold-out run in London and the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The TEAM presents a play about losing sight of America and trying to fall back in love with it.
