Women's Soccer
This fall, Women's Club Soccer joined the ranks of the Department of Recreation Sport Clubs. The club competes in both the fall and spring semesters.
While the team is not yet participating in a formal league, matches are played across New England and the New York Metropolitan tri-state region.
Sacred Heart, Northeastern, Connecticut, Wesleyan, Rutgers, and Lehigh University are just a few of the clubs available for scheduling.
On October 27, 2007, the Department of Recreation hosted its first Women's Club Soccer match on campus. The game was played under the lights on Alumni Field versus Sacred Heart University.
It is indeed an exciting time to be a part of Women's Club Soccer at Fairfield University.
