Study Abroad

Eligibility and Requirements

Fairfield University students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 and be in good social standing to qualify for study abroad.

Students who wish to study abroad must file a Study Abroad Statement of Intent form by February 1 of their sophomore year. This form is used to indicate the semester the student plans to study abroad.

All students must meet with a study abroad advisor to choose a program from the approved list before applying. Advisement appointments provide students with important information about procedures, requirements, and the use of financial aid during study abroad. Students must also obtain pre-approval for courses before departing for their semester abroad.
