International Academic Internships

Academic internships abroad provide a real-world immersion experience through which students will begin to make connections between the classroom and the working world. The internship placement should fulfill one of the course requirements of the undergraduate degree. Students work with their academic advisor to find appropriate internship placements.

Fairfield offers academic internships in two of its international study abroad sites and also for students attending the Washington Internship Institute.
