University College Program
Offers middle school, high school and college-age student instrumentalists and vocalists an intense five- or 10-day jazz experience. Led by Brian Torff, music program director at Fairfield University. The students of this workshop will both perform in jazz ensembles and attend classes/workshops in jazz improvisation and theory. Upon the end of the workshop, the students will perform in a concert at the Gonzaga Hall auditorium. To participate in this program, the participants must have at least two years of instrumental or vocal experience, and have a basic music-reading ability.
