Concentration in Manufacturing
(under the Mechanical Engineering Degree)
Students interested in pursuing a basic background in Manufacturing Engineering can take a five-course concentration that focuses on manufacturing systems and processes. Students are required to take the three core requirements shown below, and have a choice of two elective courses. The electives allow an introduction to automation and robotics. Other electives give the student background in product planning and control, as well as advanced materials and processes. In order to complete the concentration in the junior and senior year ME342. All other courses are the same as required for the ME program.
