Research in Italy

Join us in this exciting, intellectually historic and artistic center for a two-week program specifically designed for nursing students!Italy

The University of Padova is one of the most ancient of Italy. It was founded in 1222 and had many famous scholars teaching there, such as Galileo Galilei. The most important and famous building of the university is Palazzo del Bo, which is placed in the center of the city. Nursing Research will be taught for undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Padova. Undergraduate students are eligible after completion of NS 110, Introduction to Professional Nursing and MA 17, Introduction to Probability and Statistics. This course is taught in an intensive format. Instruction will be provided in English.

Classes will be held from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m, Monday-Fridays. Students will have the opportunity to participate in field trips to explore Italy and its culture. For more information click here.

Summer in Italy

Many nursing students have participated in a summer study abroad program at the Florence campus. Students select courses to complete core requirements such as art and history. For more information click here

 

Irish countrysideIreland

Nursing students can enjoy a semester in Ireland at National University of Ireland, Galway. You will receive Fairfield credit and grades for all coursework during the spring semester of your junior year. For more information click here.
