Childhood Dream Job
I would have to say ... Sports Broadcaster or Saturday Night Live cast member. I was super sporty and loved to make people laugh
My first real job was a page in the NBC Page Program. I worked in various departments within NBC including NBC Sports and Olympic Marketing, Corporate Events, NBC Sports Scheduling and Operations, and Guest Relations - Tour Guide (imagine Kenneth the Page from 30 Rock).
Cycling, painting, entertaining family/friends, and watching the New York Jets break my heart.
Favorite TV Show(s)
Mad Men, Parenthood, Parks & Recreation, and most cooking shows.
Anchorman and Miracle
Favorite thing about Fairfield University
My favorite parts about Fairfield are the awesome students and the beautiful campus!
"Believe in yourself." Dad; "If you're not hungry, don't eat that." Mom
Advice for Students
My advice is two parts:
- Come visit Career Planning sooner, rather than later. You don't want to wake up your senior year and realize that you did nothing career-related in four years. We are here to help you realize and set your career goals the minute you walk in the door.
- Master the art of networking and informational interviews! There is a hidden job market out there and networking is the key to tapping into it.
