Vision
In addition to traditional residence hall options, Living and Learning initiatives aim to transform the entire Fairfield University culture, involving faculty, administrators, students, professional and other staff alike, to create a multicultural living and learning community across the campus. It builds on the Fairfield University strategic vision - to integrate learning through a variety of intentional community housing programs.

A residential college for sophomores centered on learning about social justice and diversity.
Junior Year Build a House
Juniors and seniors identify a theme that benefits our campus community in a positive way, and educate the University community about their theme
Ignatian Residential College
A sophomore year experience which includes academic core courses, service opportunities, events and reflection groups
Housing Lottery
Housing assignments are generally conducted by a lottery and priority system
