Volunteer Interest Form

Fairfield Volunteer Recruiters (FaVoR) is a group of Fairfield alumni, parents, and friends who volunteer at Admission events across the country. From interviews to regional receptions, FaVoR offers numerous ways to get involved and share your knowledge and experience with prospective students in your community. Better yet, the program helps to keep you connected with your alma mater! Whatever activity you choose, training materials will be provided by the Office of Admission.

Alumni Career Services

Alumni Relations offers many opportunities to mentor students and alumni. Join Fairfield Alumni Network (FAN) and become a career advisor. You'll help fellow alumni and current students by responding to their career and industry questions.

Pay it forward! Be a career mentor to a junior year student by hosting them for a day or lunch during Job Shadow week over winter break.  For more information, contact Julie Tuozzoli '85, director of Alumni Career Services.

Give back to a current student by volunteering at one of our various alumni-student networking events held throughout the year on campus. These events, sponsored by the Student Alumni Association, Friends of Fairfield Athletics Groups, and Career Planning, are the perfect way for you to reconnect with your alma mater, provide great career advice, and make a lasting impression on a current STAG. For more information, contact SAA Advisor Colleen McGinn, director of Young Alumni & Student Engagement.

Fairfield University Friends of Athletics is a volunteer organization, supported by the University, whose objective is to secure a place for Fairfield Athletics programs among the nation's finest, academically and athletically. Friends of Athletics seeks to grow our fan base through communications, events, mentoring and career networking, and by building a sense of tradition and community. To get involved and be a part of this tradition, visit our website.

Through your volunteerism, you can help promote excellence in coaching, recruiting and academic performance to enhance each student-athlete's competitive experience. You will also be able to meet or re-connect with student-athletes, coaches, university administrators and staff, alumni, parents, friends and fans of the Fairfield University community and family!

Parent & Family Involvement

Our parents and families are an integral part of the University community and we encourage their involvement.

The Parents' Committee is a group of current and former parents who work with the University to engage other parents in a variety of projects; such as regional parent gatherings, welcome calls to freshman parents, attendance at University events, and contacting parents in support of The Parents' Fund.

Meetings are held during Homecoming & Family Weekend each October. For more information, contact Bonnie C. Crews at (203) 254-4000, ext. 3276.

Regional Chapters

With 10 regional chapters from Boston to Puerto Rico, there are many ways in which you can get involved based on your personal interests and time you have to donate! You can participate in committees on the topics of Lifelong Learning, Service & Spirituality, and Career Development. Or help us to coordinate events in your area, reach out to prospective students, and volunteer to serve your local community.

To find out more about what volunteer opportunities are available and/or to reach out to your local Chapter leadership team, visit the Chapter Pages online or contact Jessica Colligan '03, director of regional engagement.

Reunion Giving/Class Committees

Each year hundreds of alumni and their families come back to campus to celebrate at Reunion! Class Committees comprised of alumni from each Reunion Year, work to energize their classmates, encourage them to return to Reunion, garner support of Fairfield, and share their insight into what they'd like to see at their Reunion.

For more information on Reunion committees and/or to volunteer to serve on yours, please contact Patricia Perazzini

The Fairfield Fund & Class Agent Committee

The Fairfield Fund is our unrestricted giving program - supporting academic excellence, a vibrant campus community, and access to opportunity that all leads to a future of promise for our graduates. Join The Fairfield Fund Committee and help us achieve great alumni participation and support for a University we are proud of. Show past, present, and future students how much we valued our time at Fairfield University.

The Class Agent Committee includes representatives from each of the 10 most recent graduating classes. Their primary goal is to work with the Fairfield Fund Office to encourage their peers to support Fairfield with their time, talent, and treasure. Support from Fairfield's young alums is vital to the growth and development of our University! Help a future Stag have the same amazing experience you did.
