Recruitment and Internships

Whether your company is seeking to fill an entry-level position or find a seasoned professional with technical aptitude, Fairfield's Career Planning Center can help connect you to qualified students and alumni. The Center offers a comprehensive assortment of programs that will match business openings in a wide variety of industries with able candidates.

The Career Planning Center also oversees an internship program that places students with companies in a wide variety of industries. Interns have been placed in most fields, including but not limited to: arts and entertainment, communications, consulting, healthcare, information systems, the non-profit industry, retail, and telecommunications.

Internships within the business disciplines, such as accounting, finance, marketing, and information technology, are handled directly through the Dolan School of Business. Tara Rupp, Director of Internships, will be happy to work with you in determining if an internship is right for your organization.

Each year, approximately 500 students in the School of Business, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Nursing, and School of Engineering complete internships and research projects. Internships are an excellent method of recruiting.
