Step 1 - Advise: We strongly recommend that new students who intend to take more than one course or intend to complete a degree, meet with a University College academic advisor prior to registration for guidance on degree programs, course selection, transferring credit from prior college work, and turning work and life experience into credit. Depending on the degree program you select, you can transfer up to 75 credits.
Step 2 - Apply: New students who are registering for credit courses by mail, fax, or in-person need to complete a University College Application (PDF). If new students register online then the UC application is not necessary. There's never a fee. Addresses and contact numbers are listed below.
- Application forms are not required for enrolling in certificate and non-credit courses or if you register online.
- Students attending other colleges who are planning to transfer credits from University College courses should obtain prior written approval from those institutions.
- Individuals interested in applying to Fairfield University as full-time undergraduates should call the Office of Undergraduate Admission at (203) 254-4100.
Step 3 - Register: New and returning students need to submit a registration form for all credit, non-credit, and certificate courses. Registration can be done via phone, fax, mail, or in person. Current University College students can also register online through Stagweb.
Step 4 - Questions: Answers to questions about financial aid, employer reimbursement, withdrawal policy, and other topics can be found at Information A-Z.
