I used to see the flyers for University College and I used to dream about going to school. I would see the courses and say 'Oh, it'd be so great to take one of these courses.'

Coming back after so many years, I really didn't think the credits I had accrued previously would be considered and they ended up being accepted. And it was just such a positive experience.

The ASAP classes, classes online, the different offerings - that has been a big help. It's enabled me to do some of the work totally from home, gain credits only (for) attending classes for half a semester rather than a whole semester. The times of the classes have varied so much and that's been very helpful. And then again, the professors have been wonderful. Whenever there's a problem or I need help, they're right there to help.

I always encourage anybody that talks about returning to school to do it. If I can do it after 30 years, anyone can.
