Faculty-Led Programs

Faculty-Led Programs are an opportunity to bring the classroom to you beyond the campus borders! What’s better for learning about Italian Art than going to where it all began, in Florence? Or, working with a COOP in Costa Rica to learn about the coffee Fair Trade economy. Faculty-Led programs can enhance your curriculum, fit into your busy schedule, work for your budget, and meet your academic needs.

J-Terms So Nice, She Did It Twice

"I studied abroad several times while at Fairfield. I did a J-Term to Florence, Italy (2019), a summer session all across Greece (2021), a Fall Semester Aix-en-Provence, France (2021), and a traveling J-Term through France, Spain, and Belgium (2022)," explains Caroline '22, in regard to when and where she studied abroad. "Obviously as an International Studies student, international experience is paramount. My time abroad was one of, if not the most, important experiences of my undergraduate career."

While traveling to Italy, Greece, France, Spain, and Belgium is an impressive itinerary, those aren't the only locations Global Fairfield offers short-term semesters. Follow Caroline's lead, or chart your own course across Europe.
