Student Research Symposium

Each year, Fairfield University hosts a Student Research Symposium to promote, connect, and seek additional funding for student-led research. Both undergraduate and graduate students participate in the Student Research Symposium, where they showcase their faculty- mentored research projects.

Student Research & Travel Grants Program

The Fairfield University Office of Student Research and National Fellowships supports student research through the Student Research & Travel Grants Program, promoting faculty-student collaboration. Grantees have earned prestigious awards like the Fulbright and Goldwater scholarships and pursued top graduate programs. Funding is awarded twice annually through a competitive process.

Deadlines for applications are October 15 and March 8.

Student Research Opportunities within the Center for Climate Coastal and Marine Studies

The Center for Climate, Coastal, & Marine Studies will go beyond existing research activities in climate, coastal, and marine studies at the university by introducing a structured approach for large-scale impactful research that promises targeted and immediate societal impact. Students can take part in hands-on research with the center.
