In this online Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree program at the nationally acclaimed Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies, you'll build industry expertise through hands-on experience and practical application— helping you hit the ground running as a healthcare leader, even if you enroll without prior healthcare experience or education.

What You'll Learn and Do

Graduate having developed a professional healthcare business plan.

Every MHA degree program student completes practical application and capstone experiences that bring together all the subject matter covered into one comprehensive, real-world project. You’ll complete 150 hours of practicum immersion time in a healthcare organization and use that experience to inform your capstone project—with a faculty advisor to support you through the entire experience.

Admission Information

From your first admission conversation to graduation and beyond, you’ll find support at every turn. The Fairfield University student support network is dedicated to meeting your needs. You’ll receive personal, academic, and financial guidance as you complete your Master’s Degree in healthcare administration.

The MS in Healthcare Administration program at Fairfield University is open to students with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, provided they have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and a strong personal statement. No GMAT or GRE is required.

Application Priority Deadline: Application and all supplemental materials must be received no later than three weeks before the start of each term.

Please note that Fairfield University cannot supply I-20 documentation for international students enrolling in online or low-residency programs, like the MS in Healthcare Administration.
