At Fairfield University's Charles F. Dolan School of Business, experienced faculty teach students the fundamentals, ethics, and new developments in business on a local and global scale. Using an engaging, interpersonal approach, you will participate in group problem solving, casework, and computer simulations, providing you a strong foundation on which to build a successful business career.

    Accounting

    The accounting program offers students a complete liberal arts education combined with an innovative and integrated approach to business studies.

    Business Analytics

    The business analytics program is an application of new methods and insights to business problems using data, apps, statistical models, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

    Economics Undergraduate/Bachelor of Economics

    The Economics program blends basic economic concepts and applications with contemporary issues to develop students’ analytical abilities and prepare them for careers as economists, analysts, and upper-level managers in both the private and public sectors.

    The Finance program is designed to develop individual competency in the financial tools and analysis that help organizations make informed fiscal decisions.

    Integrated Business and Engineering

    The Bachelor of Science in Integrated Business and Engineering degree is STEM-designated and offered through a collaboration between the Fairfield Dolan School of Business and the School of Engineering and Computing, and is designed to prepare students for tech-driven business careers.

    The sports leadership and management minor provides students with foundational business skills that facilitate their interest in careers in the sports management industry.

Core Requirements

Fairfield Dolan has two components to its student undergraduate core curriculum. The first component is Fairfield’s Magis Core. Common to all undergraduates, The Magis Core provides a solid grounding in liberal arts skills and habits of mind: critical thinking, oral and written communications, and reflective practice, to name a few. The second component is The Dolan Business Core, which provides students with a solid foundation in the business disciplines while preparing them to deeply explore into their chosen major.
