    Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

    DNP Nurse Anesthesia

    Fairfield University's BSN-DNP program for Nurse Anesthesia prepares students as expert clinicians for every stage and setting in which anesthesia is delivered to patients. Students gain hands-on experience in a variety of regional (neuraxial and peripheral block) and general anesthesia techniques under the supervision of certified registered nurse anesthetists and MD faculty.

    DNP Nurse Midwifery

    The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nurse Midwifery concentration prepares students as expert nurse midwives for every stage and in every setting in which midwifery care is delivered to women. The program is designed to meet the competencies for the practice doctorate in midwifery set forth by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) and to meet the ACNM Core Competencies for Basic Midwifery Practice.

    Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition

    The DCN program is an advanced practice doctoral degree with an emphasis on leadership, advanced evidence-based practice, and research under the Future Education Model standards. The curriculum includes all necessary courses and experiential supervised practice required for graduates to obtain a verification statement allowing them to sit for the Registration Examination for Dietitian Nutritionist.

    Accelerated Master's Entry to Practice Nursing

    Fairfield University’s Accelerated Master’s Entry to Practice Nursing (MEPN) program provides a unique opportunity for those with a non-nursing bachelor’s degree to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in an accelerated format. The MEPN is the first such program in the state of Connecticut to prepare advanced generalists for registered nursing practice and leadership.
