  • Four women gather around a laptop, focused and engaged in discussion as they explore content on the screen.

    Biomedical Engineering

The BME curriculum provides both breadth and depth across a range of engineering domains such as mechanical, electrical, computer, or software engineering. The program prepares graduates to have an understanding of biology and physiology as well as the capability to apply advanced mathematics, science, and engineering to solve problems at the interface of engineering and biology.

  • A group of people gathered in a large room, focused on multiple monitors displaying various information.

    Computer Science

Computational thinking and processes permeate our daily lives, revolutionizing our understanding of the natural world, our tools, and ourselves. Knowledge of computer science has become highly valued in such diverse fields as psychology, biology, and even philosophy. A degree in Computer Science gives one both marketable skills and intellectual breadth that can be applied to any career choice.

  • A young man wearing a red shirt is intently working on a circuit board, surrounded by tools and components.

    Electrical Engineering

Electrical engineering majors learn to apply mathematical and physical principles to a wide variety of electrical, electronic, and computer-based devices and systems. Through an arrangement of theory-based coursework combined with hands-on learning, students are introduced to a broad range of engineering concepts and topics.

  • Two men wearing glasses collaborate at a desk in a lab.

    Engineering

Engineers apply scientific and mathematical principles to design, analyze, develop, test, nd manufacture products, services, materials, systems, and processes. Engineers develop innovative and creative ideas to help society solve problems. They make our lives easier, more comfortable, safer, and productive. The School of Engineering and Computing offers students majors and minors in several disciplines.

  • Two men in white shirts focused on a tablet, sharing ideas and discussing what they see.

    Integrated Business and Engineering

The STEM-designated, cohort-based Integrated Business and Engineering program, offered through a collaboration between Fairfield Dolan and the School of Engineering and Computing, is designed to prepare students for tech-driven business careers. This program will provide students with the skills needed to bridge business, technology, and STEM fields, and to lead technological operations for organizations or tech start-ups.
