    Accelerated Master's Degrees

    Fairfield University’s accelerated bachelor’s/master’s programs allow qualified undergraduate students to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in as few as five years, depending on the program. This accelerated pathway allows students to transition directly into one of the following master’s programs and earn a graduate degree in less time and at potentially less cost than when done separately.

    High School Programs

    Fairfield University offers a variety of engaging and enriching opportunities for high school students during the summer months. These opportunities include immersion programs, college prep programs, residential STEM programs, and online courses for college credit.

    Intersessions

    Fairfield University's intersession offerings provide students the chance to accelerate their academic progress through winter and summer courses. These intensive, short-term classes allow students to earn credits in a condensed period, helping them catch up or get ahead in their degree programs. With flexible online and hybrid options, the intersession programs are designed to fit the needs of students looking for convenient ways to continue their education during breaks.

    Peace Corps Prep Program

    Fairfield University’s Peace Corps Prep Program equips students with the skills necessary for international development and potential Peace Corps service. The program focuses on four core competencies: training in a work sector, foreign language proficiency, intercultural competence, and professional development. Students gain real-world experience and leadership opportunities while preparing for global careers in sectors like education, health, and community development.

    Pre-Professional Paths

    Fairfield University offers pre-professional programs in fields such as health professions and law, designed to provide students with mentorship, advising, and strategic preparation for graduate programs and careers.     Part-Time Student Bachelor’s Degrees

    Part-time students can earn their bachelor’s degree on a part-time basis in many of Fairfield’s traditional undergraduate majors. Courses are offered in flexible day, evening, online, and hybrid formats. Fairfield students receive individual academic advising from start to finish.

    Reserve Office Training

    Fairfield University offers ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) courses that allow students to gain leadership skills while pursuing their college education. Although Fairfield does not have an on-campus ROTC program, students can take ROTC courses at nearby host institutions, combining military training with their academic studies. The program offers scholarships and prepares students for careers in the military, with numerous opportunities for hands-on experience and leadership development.

    Study Abroad

    Fairfield University’s Study Abroad Office works hard at creating program pathways that enhance your major course of study. No matter which American university you attend, you are welcome to study abroad with Fairfield University at one of our seven enter programs and/or select faculty-led programs.

    Whatever your child’s interest, Fairfield University’s summer youth camps have you covered. Choose from over 15 athletics camps, academic programs, and arts experiences available to students grades 1-12. Our state-of-the-art athletic facilities, academic resources, and acclaimed camp leaders are here to make your summer youth camp experience special while providing your student with a fun and inspiring learning environment.
