Applications and admittance of international students is dependent upon which ASDNU program location (Austin, TX or Fairfield, CT) you are interested in applying for and your international student status.
The ASDNU program accepts admission applications from international students interested in attending a cohort program at either our Fairfield CT or Austin, TX campus locations and have a green card showing permanent resident status. We cannot accept applications from non-U.S. citizens interested in our Austin, Texas program location.

If you are applying for admission to the Accelerated Second Degree BSN Program and have earned your undergraduate degree outside of the United States, please arrange to submit an official transcript evaluation of your coursework for your application file. Our preferred evaluator is World Education Services, Inc. but we will also accept evaluations from Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. (see contact info below.) You will need to contact the evaluator directly for an evaluation application.
TOEFL test results are required if the applicant’s native language is not English. Fairfield's ETS code is 3390. (composite score of 550 for the paper test, 80 for the Internet based test is recommended, or IELTS score of 6.5).
Please request a detailed, official transcript evaluation in English of your academic records be mailed directly to the ASDNU Admission Office. International transcript evaluations will not be accepted when received from the student applicant.

All ASDNU applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher from an accredited institution and must complete the following prerequisites prior to starting the program. Any courses not completed during the applicant’s previous undergraduate program may be taken at Fairfield University or any other accredited university. A final official transcript must be submitted showing final course grades before starting the ASDNU program.
