Registration for Your 50th Reunion is Open!

Register Now
In June of 2024, over 100 members of the Class of 1974 returned home to campus to celebrate their Reunion — a new attendance record! Can you beat that? Mark your calendar for a weekend you won't want to miss!

After having to postpone your 45th Reunion festivities in 2020 in favor of a scaled-down celebration the following year, we’re excited to offer you the full-scale 50th Reunion that our alumni have come to know and love. We can’t wait for a whole new set of memories to be made as you reconnect with each other and with Fairfield as you celebrate this “Reunion of a Lifetime!”

Registration is through the Online Community. You'll be prompted to log in to the community in order to register. If you've already created an account to register for a previous event, you'll use that username and password to log in. If not, use your Fairfield ID number to set up your profile. Your ID number will be included at the bottom of all Reunion registration emails, or contact the Office of Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving for assistance at communityhelp@fairfield.edu or 203-254-4280.

The Walking Examen
Beginning on the plaza of Egan Chapel, this mile-long prayer and meditation trail was designed to cultivate prayerful discernment and an awareness of God’s presence around us.

The Examen is a contemplative prayer practice made popular by St. Ignatius of Loyola that invites us to see God in our everyday lives. There are five steps to the Walking Examen identified by five large rocks with a plaque. Each step signifies the five movements of the Examen prayer: Thanksgiving, Illumination, Examination, Contrition, and Hope. View the Map.

As we prepare to celebrate the 50th Reunion of the Class of 1975, we remember in a special way the members of our class who have gone before us...

Eternal rest grant to them O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May these and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Dress code for the Friday evening welcome dinner is casual. For Saturday's Golden Stags Induction Luncheon, you may wish to dress slightly less casual, as each attendee will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with President Nemec, but formal/dressy attire is not required.

Dress code for Reunion Mass and the Saturday evening Dinner Dance is as follows:
Springtime evening cocktail/"summer wedding" attire is recommended. As it can get cool at night, we recommend a jacket, sweater, or wrap and moderate heels or flats that are easy to walk in on grass.

All gifts made during your Reunion's fiscal year (July 1, 2024 until June 30, 2025), will count towards your class's goal/your Reunion gift. Visit fairfield.edu/give to make your contribution.

Additionally, many alumni celebrating their 50th have commemorated this milestone by considering gifts through their estate plan, whether through retirement assets, real estate and other non-cash assets, gifts that pay you income, and more. To find out more, please contact Emma Penick, MBA, AEP®, CAP®, Senior Director of Planned Giving at epenick@fairfield.edu or by calling 203-254-4020.
