Sports Performance
A quality sports performance program is an integral part of Fairfield's Athletics programs. Fairfield Sports Performance is dedicated to developing student-athletes who are stronger, faster, more powerful, flexible, and metabolically efficient while decreasing the potential for injuries.
The Sports Performance facility, one of the best in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, is designed to meet the changing needs of today's student-athletes. The facility utilizes a 4,700-square-foot facility located in the Walsh Athletic Center for exclusive use by student-athletes.
How Sports Performance Works:
- Responsible for supervising, developing, and implementing workouts to ensure varsity student-athletes reach team and individual performance goals.
- Place teams on sport-specific, periodical training programs.
- Work closely with the Sports Medicine Department to provide individualized attention for student-athletes who have specific needs or require injury rehabilitation.
