In celebration of the holiday season, festive events are taking place on campus and at the downtown bookstore throughout the month of December.
Fairfield University Glee Club
Annual Christmas Concert: "Sing We Now of Christmas"
Friday, Dec. 1 | 7:30 p.m.

Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts
Now in its 76th season of music, the concert repertoire includes Glenn L. Rudolph’s “The Dream Isaiah Saw,” the traditional “Night of Silence” by Daniel Kantor, as well as festive songs and carols. The performance will be conducted by Carole Ann Maxwell, DSM, with accompanist Beth Palmer and featuring the Festival Brass and Percussion Orchestra. Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola, Plaza
As the most wonderful time of the year descends up on the community, Fairfield University will add to the merriment with the annual campus Tree Lighting Ceremony outside Egan Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
The University will welcome the greater Fairfield community with hot chocolate and cookies as well as the Bubble and Brew food truck to warm spirits. The Bensonians and Sweet Harmony singing groups will perform songs of the season. Lucas and Santa will join the fun for pictures, and there will be a Fairfield Holiday Pop-Up Shop with gift essentials like ornaments, and the official “Wreathing of the Stag Statue.”

- Holiday Storytime with Mrs. Claus: Saturday, Dec. 2 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Holiday Shop & Stroll: Wednesday, Dec. 6 | 6 - 8 p.m.
There will be mulled hot cider and cookies, live music, and complimentary gift wrapping to get into the holiday shopping spirit. - Face Painting with Mrs. Claus: Saturday, Dec. 9 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Balloon Art Twisting with Mrs. Claus: Saturday, Dec. 16 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Winter Wonderland

Kelley Center Parking Lot
Students, join us for a winter festival featuring a beer garden, live music, Zuppardi’s Pizza, hot cocoa bar, nacho bar, make your own s’mores, and giveaways! This is a student only event.
