This December, we joyfully commemorate the 25th anniversary of our cherished "Teddy Bears With Love” Drive, collecting new teddy bears and stuffed animals to be given to children’s hospitals and charities nationwide.
Since the inaugural year in 1999, The Fairfield University Student Alumni Association (SAA), in conjunction with the Office of Alumni Relations, has been hosting the “Teddy Bears With Love” Drive. Over the past 25 years, the outpouring of support from thousands of Fairfield alumni, families, students, employees, friends, and community members has resulted in the donation of more than 25,000 teddy bears (and stuffed animals). These heartwarming contributions have been distributed to numerous children’s hospitals and charities nationwide — bringing joy to children during the holiday season.
This year’s collection is now underway: Donations will be accepted through Monday, Dec. 11.
To care for the health and well-being of the children receiving these donations, it is imperative that all donations be new/with tags, and if possible, in their original packaging. All donations must be mailed or delivered directly to the Office of Alumni Relations.

For in-person drop-off, the Office of Alumni Relations is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will also be several in-person donation events this year. See the event listings below for more details.
